About Us

ASK+ is an interdisciplinary firm based in Cambridge and Arlington Massachusetts. ASK started in 2009 and is comprised of architects, landscape architects, and construction managers working to build high quality, well-designed projects. The work includes a wide range of commercial and residential architectural design, public open space, and private gardens.

The firm’s organization centers on projects. The principals and team assigned to the project remain committed throughout the project’s life. ASK’s collaborative work is locally focused and encompasses a wide range of scales from commercial fit outs to artist’s lofts to residential master plans to small public projects. Our work is characterized by the attitude that strong, simple, well-built design can respond in innovative ways to the site and program to enrich the user experience. This design philosophy is integrated with a clear understanding of costs, construction techniques, and scheduling, with an all-important emphasis on the clients’ needs and goals.

Anthony is a principal, co-founder, and architect at ASK. His work emphasizes the intersection of making and design. As both a registered architect and construction supervisor, Anthony brings a unique perspective and thoughtful responses to all projects. Prior to ASK, he was at Ann Beha Architects and Massie Architecture where he contributed to a range of projects, including the Big Belt House and the reconstruction of the Tappan Manor House at Tanglewood.

Sara is a principal, co-founder, and landscape architect at ASK. Her work focuses on the design and construction of urban public spaces and is rooted in the belief that the most appropriate and innovative designs are born from the engagement of all site processes from historical to social.  Prior to ASK, she was at Hargreaves Associates and Sasaki Associates where she contributed to a range of projects, including the Chicago Riverwalk, the Lawn on D, and the Wilmington Waterfront Promenade at the Port of Los Angeles. Sara is adjunct faculty at Rhode Island School of Design.
